The Swedish Chips Competence Centre (SCCC), together with Vinnova, invites small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to an online information meeting on testing and validation of new semiconductor technology in pilot lines under the Chips Joint Undertaking (Chips JU). This session will introduce the latest call for proposals, explain how project support works, and highlight opportunities to use Europe’s advanced semiconductor pilot lines for prototyping, proof-of-concept, and innovation activities.
Chips JU is the European initiative supporting research, innovation, and development in electronic components and systems. Through pilot line infrastructures such as NanoIC, FAMES, APECS, WBG, and PIXEurope, participating organisations can access state-of-the-art facilities to accelerate technology validation and bridge the gap between research and industrial application.
The information meeting will provide an overview of this call, followed by a question session. The online meeting is hosted via Microsoft Teams and conducted in Swedish, with the option to ask questions in English. Pre-registration is not required – participants can join directly on the day.
This session is an excellent opportunity for SMEs and innovators to get clarity on the call’s objectives, understand how to engage with pilot line resources, and connect early with the Chips JU ecosystem.
